Diogo Bogéa is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Psychoanalysis in the Department of Subjectivity Studies and Human Formation at the Faculty of Education of UERJ. He is a Research Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Education at UERJ. He is a UERJ Procientista (2022-). He holds a PhD in Philosophy from PUC-Rio (2016). He also holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from PUC-Rio (2012). He holds a BA in History from the State University of Rio de Janeiro – Faculty of Teacher Training (2009). He is also Head of the Department of Subjectivity Studies and Human Formation at UERJ (2024-). He is also Coordinator of the UERJ Research and Outreach Group “PENDERE – Thinkers of Desire and Networks”. His main areas of interest include: Philosophy of Education, Curriculum and Teacher Training; Metaphysics of the will and its main influences (From Schopenhauer to psychoanalysis); Deconstruction of traditional metaphysics in the contemporary era (Nietzsche; Heidegger; Derrida); The complexity paradigm and relational ontologies; New materialisms and the overcoming of modern subjectivity (Jane Bennett; Karen Barad; Rosi Braidotti).
