The purpose of this research project is to permit studies interchange in the curriculum field, done by a group of researchers of the University of Oporto / Portugal and the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro / Brazil. This interchange focuses on articulating various lines of research, to enable different theoretical-methodological production spaces to dialogue on curricular policies and practices. What emerges from this dialogue opportunity is interest in a compared study of the implementation of curricular policies in a globalized world, whose guidelines emphasize integration and contextualization, focus on multiculturality and the difference and its materialization inside school culture, where curricular discourse is confronted with different symbolic systems and cultural artifacts.
